JOIN LEPSOC TODAY

Ordinary membership of the Lepidopterists' Society of Africa costs only R350 per year if you reside in Africa (R420 for international members). Students (under 23) only pay R180 (R240 for international students) and pensioners (over 60) pay R260 (R310 for international pensioners). For R530 a married couple (or life-partners) may join LSA as full members, or for R400 if they are pensioners. (Please contact the membership secretary if you wish to join as a married couple). In addition, membership is free to children under the age of 16.

* Please note that these fees do not include for a printed copy of the Society’s journal Metamorphosis, quoted separately each year as printing and postage costs vary.

How to join and pay

1. To join the Society, please fill in the application form and press the Submit button. 
2. You will then be transferred to the PayFast payment gateway, where you will be able to pay for your subscription via EFT (for SA bank account holders), or by using VISA or Mastercard (for international members).
3. Your details will be sent to the Membership Secretary who will, on receipt of your payment, send you a welcome letter, and will provide you with a user name and password for access to the ‘Members only’ section of this website, and for full access to the Metamorphosis website (so PDFs can be downloaded).
